Woke up this morning at 3.30am... the full moon was shining onto Champagne Castle, which was shrouded in mist and the only noises were the sounds of a dog barking and horses playing in the paddock below - both disturbed by the soft moon light.

I was able to get some shots of the Drakensberg and meet up with Malcolm and Ria Don Wauchope who still own and manage the Mountain Splendour Resort near my farm, but first I went for a two hour walk from the hotel to the Sphinx - a great outlook spot - as you can see from the images below.
